Testimonials
The Bridlington partnership encompasses 75 schools and 6 SSCos.
For two years we "seemed" to be able to manage the communication across the partnership, at all levels, but never had a term when this was really perfect. In some instances, this had a detrimental effect on the work that SSCO staff could deliver, PLTs and more importantly our pupils. Some got the info, others didn’t or were late in receiving!
With the website we have been able to eradicate the excuses from all.
PLT's have to regularly check their dedicated email site, SSCO staff keep schools and communities involved each week - and I can manage everyone collectively.
For me as a PDM, I can host information, particularly our monitoring and evaluation information and ensure that PLTs have received it, returning data via email or interactively through the web, to justify our hard work.
Community clubs are also getting involved, up dates of inter school sport allow pupils to become involved, pressuring schools to send them to the next event!
As an IT novice, I have found it relatively easy to manage the site and add new links, information when needed!
It has also saved time and money in stuffing envelopes and postage costs ensuring the site has paid for itself, in both a monetary and overall impact value tenfold!

At long last! A web-site devoted to the enrichment of P.E. in the lives of our children. The content of the web-site is constantly changing with up to date information.
As a headteacher I find the site very quick to navigate and simple for children to use. It provides an at-a-glance opportunity to see what sport activities are on offer in the area.
The email facility is very simple to operate and far less time consuming than opening letters each week. As a headteacher with experience of 14 years as a P.E. specialist teacher I am aware of the importance P.E.can contribute to a child.
I do know that, on occasions, some P.E. teachers in schools do not receive messages about events that have been sent by letters to school due to the number of 'hands' the message has gone through. With this web-site that's not the case. A teacher can log on quickly and contribute ideas to a whole area very easily.
The pupil sections motivate the children with P.E. It's a very welcome resource - already saved as a 'favourite' all of our schools' computers!
